Great Irish Criac with the Lads
Our 4th day on the island started early as we navigated the train system to the small fishing port of Howth. From there, the team ran 5-7 miles along the beautiful Irish coastline. After refueling with fish and chips, both teams headed back to the city for the Gaelic Games at Na Fianna GAA Club. We learned about the importance of Gaelic Games and how they play an integral piece to traditional, and modern, Irish culture. The team was able to experience three Gaelic games: Hurling, Gaelic Football (soccer +hands), and Handball! It was the boys turn to make dinner so they decided to go with tacos, which were delicious. After the girls cleaned up, we headed out to Grafton Street for some Gelato and street entertainment. Tomorrow we will run a hard workout in Pheonix Park and then we are off to Cork!
