Dublin -> Cork
Another great workout in the books for both teams! Both A group and B group (as well as the girls team) had a phenomenal workout at the largest city park in Europe: Phoenix Park. Phoenix Park was the perfect location for today's long progression workout because of the flat grass/dirt terrain and the cool weather. Both teams have continued to improve throughout camp by pushing the workouts aerobically and by encouraging their teammates to stick together in a pack. After the workout, we traveled Southwest to the port city of Cork. On the way, we made a pit stop to visit the Mitchelstown Caves in Tipperary, where we were able to climb hundreds of feet below ground and tour the caverns. The low ceilings and tight walls of the cave amplified the acoustics of the boys' singing, which surprisingly sounded better than usual. Once in Cork, the coaches made dinner (chili and bread) and we all went to the park to play team bonding games.
